WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT
REENERGIZE FITNESS!
I started to work with Reena in April, when my knees were creaky and hurt going up the stairs at my house. I also was having trouble tackling steep inclines without knee pain while hiking. Reena worked my glutes back into shape, and made it fun along the way. She also took great care not to exacerbate a shoulder injury, which was incredibly important. Three months later, I am able to enjoy my normal exercises without pain! I feel stronger
and have a lot more energy. BETH

As someone who spent decades in great physical condition until a series of injuries and a desk job derailed me, I can attest that Reena Sarai is a superb and holistic trainer. Reena understands not only how the body works -– regardless of age, conditioning, injuries or weaknesses – but also pays attention to her clients. She listens to what the client wants, but also to what the body is saying. She is the first trainer I've had that is constantly switching up exercises to make sure my muscles are working optimally so that I continue to get stronger and not get hurt. Her workouts are challenging, fun, progressive and at the same time, I feel like I am in the most capable hands. I highly recommend Reena as a trainer. DIANA C. AGE 56 |
After suffering several injuries a torn bicep and rotator cuff in right arm and a torn ACL of the left knee, which negatively impacted my golf and squash performance, I engaged Reena for physical training to strengthen my arms, legs, and core to improve balance and flexibility. Within four weeks of training, I noticed vast improvement in my physical strength, balance, and flexibility that has improved my golf game! Reena has a unique methodology to train, as opposed to other trainers, who explain an exercise and ask to repeat it- she is hands on in demonstrating the exercises for the entire session of 60 minutes making it easy to follow her. She tailors the exercise based on an individual’s condition and capability.I highly recommend her as a trainer for all those hoping to improve their physical condition and strength. DEV D
I've been a client of Reena's for 3 years. She is a wonderful, knowledgeable and caring instructor. I have improved my overall fitness, strength and balance as a result of her instruction! She tailors her classes to her students needs, always mindful of what they arrive with to each class. I've done stretching, movement and pilates as well as strength training with her. I would not hesitate to recommend her services! LINDA H, AGE 73

Reena is amazing! I went to her while having some stiffness in my shoulders and neck and she identified other areas that were tight causing the pain. I was so impressed with her whole body knowledge base and easy to follow fitness routine! My shoulders and neck pain were fine after I took her classes. Also, it’s hard to explain but with the way she speaks and her breathing techniques, I also felt mentally relaxed. You’ll have to try her out to know what I mean! I highly recommend her! Ever since I started taking classes with Reena, I've started feeling so much better. Much more energy, better mood. It's only been a few weeks and I can tell I've lost a little weight already too. We work out a few times a week outside, in the mornings. It's been such a great way to start my day, plus Reena makes it fun!

As I have aged Flexibility has become more of a challenge for me, but after working out with Reena she has found a way for me to stretch all 13 major muscle groups in the body.
Stretching out has not only made me feel more youthful it is very important for injury prevention as we age.
Thanks to Reena this 43 year-old feels like a 33 year-old! FRANK, AGE 43

I started working with Reena Sarai to improve my strength and flexibility to play better golf. In a very short time Reena has already improved on my posture as well as strength. I highly recommend her as a personal trainer. Because she also works on balance my golf game is also improving. SHEKAR S
Reena does not create her programs based on any standard formula for physical fitness, although as a fitness professional of long experience she knows them all. What she does is develop her routines based on her clients’ ages and physical capabilities. She does not push you to become an Olympian or shout at you like a drill sergeant if you forget which foot goes out first. In fact, Reena works right alongside you as you go through the exercises. That includes using weights which is an important part of her routines. Working with her is not bootcamp where pain is gain. Her programs are designed for you individually to enhance your strength, endurance, and flexibility. I started with Reena when I was 75 years old. I’d tried other trainers before her in an effort to get back into the physical condition I enjoyed when I was 40. Reena does not use that approach because we older men and women ain’t never gonna be youngins’ again, but it sure is nice to be able to climb a flight of stairs without gasping for breath or load and unload your car without going to a chiropractor afterwards. Reena will get you back on the highway of life! DAN C, AGE 81
I've attended Reena's in-person classes for a number of years, and to this day, I still use her exercise recommendations. Not only have her exercises and recommendations improved my overall flexibility, they have also improved my health. If you want to achieve results, and work with a dedicated, courteous, and certified professional, she's your best bet! I would refer any of my friends and associates to her if they are looking to get amazing results at a reasonable cost. Reena's the best! ACE S, AGE 53
I have worked out with Reena twice a week since December 2019 — she saw me through Covid and helped me stay sane and physically well. Her approach has changed my outlook on staying in shape— I look forward to all our sessions knowing I will leave feeling energized and knowing I have learned a new skill to apply to my wellness. I used to loathe the very idea of tying my shoes to head to any kind of fitness class or gym session— Reena has changed that for me and I am really grateful. ELIZABETH H, AGE 57
I started working with Reena about 10 months after a catastrophic leg INJURY at age 51 - complete rupture of the quadricep tendons of both legs in a freak accident. After emergency surgery, I spent nine weeks in straight leg braces — no bending permitted — followed by 4 months of physical therapy. I could walk, but not far, not fast, and not without pain. Going downstairs and getting up out of a chair — wow, brutal every time.
I’ve never had a personal trainer, And I didn’t like the idea of having one. I especially didn’t like the idea that I needed “Functional training” which is Reena’s primary focus. But I could not deny that most of the physical activities I liked were out of reach. I’ve led a pretty athletic life, and I’ve seen the inside of a gym more days than not for decades. The prospect of having to give up most of that was too much to contemplate. Reena listened to my story and said she could help.
And she was right. From the first session, Reena chose exercises based on her sense of my capabilities as they developed, within individual sessions and over time. If a movement was too much, she broke it into parts I could manage, which we later combined. By paying such close attention and recalibrating so frequently, she was able to show me — to permit me to show myself — that I could make measurable progress, both quickly and consistently. Progress is good. Progress is fun.
And so are the workouts. No two are the same. She doesn’t stand by and count reps. She does all the exercises with me. She never “Goes through the motions” or “Phones it in.” And because she doesn’t, neither do I. Her workouts are never boring. She uses exercise combination and variations that can turn into improvisational “Workout jams.” It gets hard sometimes. But it never gets boring. I never feel like I’ve wasted my time or my money. And I’m always glad I made it to the workout.
Her training improvisation works because of her comprehensive understanding of musculoskeletal health. Her technical knowledge of how muscles, joints, connective tissues and nerves interact in the jumping off point for how she trains. She applies all this in choosing exercises that help me to get my body to do what I want it to do every day and avoid chronic pain. That’s where the “Functional” part of the training comes in.
So where has this gotten me? Much farther than I would have believed or dared to hope when I started. Most of maydays are pain free. My injury no longer hinders any of my daily activities. I can walk my three athletic dogs until they’re so tired that they want to go home. I can carry my 9-year-old on my shoulders — up and down stairs. I can help around the house with any heavy lifting, and I can carry the bags when we travel as a family, same as I did before I got hurt.
I’m still working out with Reena several years later, long after my quad tendon rupture recovery. I’m in better overall shape than I’ve been since my college days. The training we do now makes my own workouts more effective.
If you came away from reading this testimonial thinking it’s over the top hype or just fake, I’d understand. But I’m a real guy. This is really what happened. And it’s my pleasure to tell you how much gratitude I feel for what Reena has allowed me to accomplish. JOE, AGE 53
